“Elf the Musical Jr.”: Professional Youth Theatre of Michigan
Dec. 13–15 & 20–22. Megan Wright-Jones directs two casts of local youth actors in grades 2–12 in a 1-hour version of Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin’s 2010 musical. The book is adapted from the 2003 ugly duckling film starring Will Ferrell as a human raised as an elf at the North Pole, and his journey to New York City to find his father. 7 p.m. (Fri.), 2 & 7 p.m. (Sat.), and noon (Sun.), Riverside Arts Center, 76 N.
