Duruflé’s Requiem: Beyond Choir
EMU choral director Brandon Johnson conducts his local professional vocal ensemble in Maurice Duruflé’s meditative, luminous 1947 choral and orchestral setting of the Latin Mass for the dead, which integrates Gregorian chant with lush, modern harmonies.
