Colin Quinn: The Ark
Acclaimed veteran stand-up comic known for his acerbic wit and observational jokes delivered in a thick Brooklyn accent. Quinn first gained fame during a 5-year run on SNL in the late 90s where he anchored the popular “Weekend Update” segment, and has gone on to host a number of TV comedy shows, along with a Broadway show and stand-up specials. His brand-new special, Red State, Blue State, skewers social media, the fractured state of American politics, and the silly reasons people don’t get along anymore. 8 p.m., The Ark, 316 S.
