“Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”: Burns Park Players

Feb. 7–9. Rachel Slupe directs Burns Park elementary school students, parents, and friends in the Richard and Robert Sherman adaptation of the 1968 Ken Hughes musical film, with a book by Jeremy Sams. The story is about an eccentric inventor who restores an old car with the help of his children, only to discover that the car has magical properties. The score features “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” “Toot Sweets,” and more. 7 p.m. (Fri. & Sat.) & 2 p.m. (Sat. & Sun.), Tappan Middle School, 2251 E. Stadium.
