“Celebration of Girls & Women in Sports”: Ann Arbor Sports Commission
Feb. 1 & 2. Two-day event in conjunction with National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Feb. 1 (2 p.m., EMU Gervin Center, Ypsilanti): EMU women’s basketball vs. Toledo, preceded at 12:30 p.m. by a sports clinic with EMU athletes and followed by post-game autographs and a shootaround. Feb. 2 (1–3 p.m., Kensington Hotel, 3500 S. State): Educational panels on topics like diet culture, mental wellness, and athletic resilience, with panelists registered dietitian Melanie Sulaver, former U-M golfer Mikaela Schulz, and others. Feb. 2 (4:05 p.m., Yost Ice Arena, 1016 S. State): U-M women’s hockey vs. Adrian College, with a post-game autograph session.
