Jan. 11: U-M robotics professor Mark Draelos on “Robotics in Medicine. Jan. 18: U-M biology professor Yan Zhang on “The Genome Engineering and Therapeutic Revolution.” Jan. 25 (via livestream): NASA Goddard Space Flight Center senior astrophysicist Jennifer Wiseman on “The Hubble and Webb Space Telescopes: A New Era of Discovery.” Feb. 1: U-M pharmacy professor Jonny Sexton on “Artificial Intelligence Enhanced Drug Discovery and Repurposing: From Benchside to Bedside.” Feb. 8: U-M geology professor Ben van der Pluijm on “Shaking Things Up: About Natural and Anthropogenic Earthquakes and Noise.” Feb. 15: Retired U-M Transportation Research Institute research scientist Bruce Belzowski on “Managing the Transition to EVs: Tales of Countries, Companies, and Engineers Trying to Create the Future.” 10–11:30 a.m., WCC Towsley Auditorium (Morris Lawrence Bldg.), 4800 E.
