Big Play Arb Takeover: U-M Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum
Various open-ended, participatory family-friendly activities led by Matthaei representatives, including nature artmaking, wonder walks, and nature games. Also, giant Jenga and other large-scale games led by AADL staff, hands-on nature activities led by Leslie Science & Nature Center staff, a drum circle led by a Drummunity member, parachute games and yoga led by Adventure Leadership staff, and fairy house construction led by artist Therese Ojibway. 10 a.m.–2 p.m., Nichols Arboretum, 1610 Washington Heights.
