May 5–26. Annual festival of documentary and feature films on Jewish themes. Includes both in-person screenings at the State Theatre (except as noted) and different films made available each week to stream anytime. $12 per film; virtual festival pass, $50–$150. Online May 20 (8 p.m.) through May 26 (10 p.m.): “Home” (Benny Fredman, 2023). Drama about an Orthodox Jewish man who tries to open a computer store in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood. Hebrew, subtitles. Also, several films screened earlier in the festival (see above): Children of Nobody, Vishniac, and Death of Zygelbojm.
