A Royal Oak native now based in New York City, Sokol is known for a sharp, witty act that covers such topics as working as a comments moderator for a right-wing news site (an essay version of which appeared in the New York Times in 2019), idiosyncratic units of measurement, and his annoyance at not being allowed to pet service animals.
