“A Very Shakespeare Christmas”: PTD Productions
Every Wed.–Sun., Nov. 14–23. Laura Bird directs local actors in the premiere of local playwright P.S. Drake’s “holiday romantic comedy with an Elizabethan twist.” The story concerns a failed Hollywood actress returning home for the holidays who discovers a magical book from her late father which transports her and those around her into Shakespeare’s most famous works. Drake says her plays are “full of physical comedy, visual gags, and quick one-liners.” 7:30 p.m. (Thurs.–Sat.) & 2 p.m. (Sun. & Wed.), Riverside Arts Center, 76 N. Huron St., Ypsilanti.
