“A Photographic Memory”: Cinetopia International Film Festival
Cinetopia International Film Festival. June 13—23. This Ann Arbor Summer Festival/Cinetopia collaboration features dozens of films—many of them Michigan premieres—screened over 10 days at the Michigan Theater (MI) and State Theatre (State). Includes narrative feature-length films and documentaries that recently premiered at international festivals such as Sundance and Berlin. Tickets $16 (Michigan Theater members, $13); 4-pack, $60 (Michigan Theater members, $45); festival passes, $125-$295 in advance at marquee-arts.org/cinetopia and at the door. June 14 (State) and 18 & 19 (MI): “A Photographic Memory” (Rachel Elizabeth Seed, 2024). Documentary about the filmmaker’s mother, renowned journalist Sheila Turner Seed. Followed by Q&A on June 18 & 19. 4:45 p.m. (Fri.), 7:30 p.m. (Tues.), & 7:15 p.m. (Wed.).
