Nov. 8 & 9. Holiday gift sales and menu specials in many shops and restaurants. A vendor market at the visitor center on Saturday includes the Spinner’s Flock Fiber Market. Also on Saturday, Ballet Chelsea performs vignettes from The Nutcracker in the window at Merkel’s, and singer-guitarist Nathan Sweet performs classic rock. 10 a.m.–6 p.m. (many shops stay open until 8 p.m. or so), downtown Chelsea.
