“A Two Hearted Tale”: Cinetopia International Film Festival

Cinetopia International Film Festival. June 13—23. This Ann Arbor Summer Festival/Cinetopia collaboration features dozens of films—many of them Michigan premieres—screened over 10 days at the Michigan Theater (MI) and State Theatre (State). Includes narrative feature-length films and documentaries that recently premiered at international festivals such as Sundance and Berlin. Tickets $16 (Michigan Theater members, $13); 4-pack, $60 (Michigan Theater members, $45); festival passes, $125-$295 in advance at marquee-arts.org/cinetopia and at the door. The films are listed in order of first screening below. 

June 14 & 15 (MI): “A Two Hearted Tale” (Rory K. McHarg & Bret Miller, 2023). Documentary about the story and artist behind the beer label that graces Bell’s Two Hearted Ale. Followed by Q&A both days. 5 p.m. (Fri.) & 6:45 p.m. (Sat.)
