Washtenaw County’s only fully Black- and woman-owned cannabis dispensary has reopened its Packard St. storefront, which closed since last summer after difficulties resulting in ongoing litigation with a previous management company. Christina Montague is now collaborating with a professional support firm and operating as Feel State at Huron View, according to her daughter, Teesha Montague, who remains involved with the business, which opened as Huron View Provisioning Center in 2017.

Christina Montague is a retired Ann Arbor Public Schools social worker and former Washtenaw County Commissioner. Her daughter notes that they are relaunching their “meds and meals” program, partnering with local restaurants to provide food assistance to local veterans and seniors in need.
