July 2 (5-9 p.m.): Ice Cream Social: Ann Arbor Senior Center, 1320 Baldwin, a2gov.org/senior, (734) 794–6250. Free ice cream, socializing, and a tour of the center. Also, all welcome to bring a picnic and spread out on the grass to hear the Ann Arbor Civic Band perform a program of patriotic music (7:30–8:30 p.m.) in Burns Park next door.
