“For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When The Rainbow Is Enuf”: The Ark
Area actors Crystal Campbell, Diane Hutcherson, Linda Edwards-Brown, Miranda Carter, Tracey Massey, Brittney Williams, and Britney Winn perform a staged reading of Ntozake Shange’s 1976 feminist choreopoem, a series of poetic monologues that highlight the ways women of color suffer racist and sexist oppression.
