Candlelight Concerts: Kalkaska String Quartet
Dec. 17 & 18 (different programs). This Detroit-based ensemble presents 2 candlelight concerts. Tonight: “90s Unplugged” (6:30 p.m.) features instrumental arrangements of the music by 1990s pop and rock bands from Foo Fighters to Metallica, and “Rings and Dragons” (8:45 p.m.) features themes from The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones. Members are violist Nathaniel Cornell, cellist Wesley Hornpetrie, and violinists Meg Rohrer & Emelyn Bashour.
