“Top of the Park”: Ann Arbor Summer Festival

Tonight in the KidZone: chalk drawing with popular local street artist David Zinn (5 p.m.), and computer science activities (5 p.m.) for early elementary kids with local public school librarian Julie Darling. On the Power Center Lawn: strength, cardio, and mindfulness (5:30 p.m.) with Barre3 Ann Arbor. In the Annex tent: spoken word poetry readings (5 p.m.) hosted by local poet Maddy Wildman. On the O&W Grove Stage: avant-garde Kalamazoo folk-soul cellist and vocalist Jordan Hamilton (5 p.m.). On the Rackham Stage: Adam Plomaritas (7 p.m.), a local Americana rock ’n’ roll singer-songwriter, and May Erlewine (8:45 p.m.), a big-voiced singer-songwriter from Big Rapids who writes thoughtful, richly emotional country-flavored songs.  5–10 p.m.
