“Top of the Park”: Ann Arbor Summer Festival

See 14 Friday. Tonight in the KidZone: kids activities (5 p.m.) led by Washtenaw Intermediate School District.  Also, a chance to learn about the county’s My Future Fund children’s savings account program. On the Power Center Lawn: “Soulful Movement” (5:30 p.m.) with Teresa Myers. In the Annex tent: “The Teens Are Alright” (5 p.m.), with performances by area teen bands. On the O&W Grove Stage: actors from the local Black and Brown Theatre (5 p.m.) perform scenes from a new Spanish language musical and music by the Dexter-area teen rock band Hudson North (5:45 p.m.). On the Rackham Stage: Mr. B’s B10 Band (6:45 p.m.), a jazz ensemble led by world renowned local boogie-woogie & blues pianist Mark “Mr. B” Braun, and Frontier Ruckus (8 p.m.), a popular experimental bluegrass-based folk-rock ensemble from Lake Orion. The music is followed at 10 p.m. by a screening of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Michel Gondry’s 2004 romantic sci-fi drama, written by Charlie Kaufman, about a couple who undergo a procedure to have each other erased from their memory after their relationship has turned sour. 5 p.m.–midnight.
