Volunteer Stewardship Workday: Ann Arbor Natural Area Preservation Division

May 5, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 31. All invited to help maintain natural areas and remove invasive plants in various city parks. Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring heavy gloves; tools, snacks, & know-how provided. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or obtain a release form in advance. May 5 (9 a.m.–noon): Sunset Brooks Nature Area, corner of Vesper Rd. & Sunset Rd. May 5 (1 p.m.–4 p.m.): Miller Nature Area, Arborview Blvd. entrance, just east of Wildwood Ave. May 11 (9 a.m.–noon): Marshall Nature Area, parking lot off Dixboro Rd. at Church Rd. May 11 (1 p.m.–4 p.m.): Huron Parkway Nature Area, meet at the Park Steward’s house, 3470 Woodland Rd. May 12 (9 a.m.–noon): Molin Nature Area, corner of Powell Rd. & Columbia Ave. May 12 (1 p.m.–4 p.m.): Berkshire Creek Nature Area, Warwick Rd. May 18 (9 a.m.–noon): Narrow Gauge Way Park, corner of Narrow Gauge Way and Watershed Dr. May 18 (1 p.m.–4 p.m.): Ruthven Nature Area, main entrance off Huron Parkway near Geddes. May 19 (9 a.m.–noon): Black Pond Woods, park entrance on Tibbits Ct., off Pontiac Tr. May 31 (1 p.m.–4 p.m.): Bird Hills Nature Area, Newport Rd. parking entrance, just north of M-14.
