“Pippin”: Community High School Ensemble Theatre

Emily Wilson-Tobin directs CHS students in Pippin, the 1972 Stephen Schwartz-Roger O. Hirson pop-rock hit Broadway musical about a performance troupe that tells the story of Charlemagne’s son, a young prince on a hapless search for the meaning of life through exploits in war, sex, and politics. Music direction by Brian Rose. Bob Fosse, who directed the original Broadway production, also contributed to the libretto. 7:30 p.m. (Thurs., Fri., & Sat.), 2 p.m. (Sat. & Sun.), CHS Craft Theater, N.
