“Barbie: Six Decades of Inspiration” exhibit by the Ann Arbor Doll Collectors: Ann Arbor Doll Collectors
Moviegoers to the Emagine Saline movie theater Saturday, July 22, can enjoy a Barbie retrospective, her history, her impact and the controversies that have swirled around her over the past 64 years.
The Ann Arbor Doll Collectors will exhibit vintage and modern Barbies to coincide with the opening of the Barbie movie. The display, “Barbie: Six Decades of Inspiration,” will depict how Barbie has evolved over the years and her many personas. It will be in place from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Club members will be present to answer questions about Barbie and the doll club.
