Winter Concert: Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra.

Adam Riccinto directs this volunteer community orchestra in a program featuring Amy Beach’s evocative 1894 Gaelic Symphony, the first major symphony by a woman composer. Also, Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival and “Sleigh Ride,” selections from Vince Guaraldi’s A Charlie Brown Christmas, a medley of movie Christmas themes, and familiar selections from Mannheim Steamroller and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. 3:30 p.m., Lincoln High School Performing Arts Center, 7425 Willis Rd., Ypsilanti. $12 (seniors age 65 & older, students with ID, & kids under age 12, $6; family, $30) in advance at A2Tix.com and at the door. ypsilantisymphony.org.
