"Tinkergarten -Outdoor classes where kids learn through play"

Summer Season Tinkergarten Classes

Event Date:  Saturdays, June 25- August 20, 2022

Time:   10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Age Range: 18 months-8 years

Tinkergarten is play-based learning for children and their caregivers in the best possible classroom: the outdoors! Registration is required for this hour-long, weekly experience that allows children of various ages to build a host of skills from creativity, problem-solving, critical-thinking, literacy, communication, and collaboration. We get messy and we make unforgettable memories! Parents are important at Tinkergarten; we become keen observers of our child's learning, we play alongside them and learn how to best support this play (the best way children learn), bond in engaging and meaningful ways, and prioritize getting out in nature, all while building a stronger community.

This event takes place in Watkins Lake State Park and County Preserve, 14801 Arnold Road between Brooklyn and Manchester (in Jackson and Washtenaw Counties). You can access the park from both Horning Rd. or Fay Lake Rd. Horning Rd. is closer to the parking lot. The class is $219 for the summer season (which comes to under $25 per class) and offers a sibling discount.
