Please join local authors of the newly published "The Ones Who Remember: Second-Generation Voices of the Holocaust" as they launch their long-awaited anthology. Sixteen authors and members of Temple Beth Emeth provide a window into the lived experience of their families grappling with the legacy of genocide. Each author reveals the many ways their parents’ Holocaust traumas and survival seeped into their souls and then affected their subsequent family lives – whether they knew the bulk of their parents’ stories or nothing at all. This book is the result of an 18 year immersive group effort. Light refreshments. 3-4 p.m., Temple Beth Emeth, 2309 Packard. Masks and Proof of Vaccination required. Free.
