“The First Degree”: Michigan Theater.

(Edward Sedgwick, 1923). Silent rural melodrama starring Frank Mayo about 2 brothers in love with the same woman. Long thought to be lost, a complete print was discovered in the Chicago Film Archives in 2020. With live accompaniment by the Chicago indie rock quartet Quasar Wut-Wut.
