“Seven Beauties”: State Theatre.:

(Lina Wertmüller, 1975). Picaresque tale about an immoral Italian “everyman” released from a mental institution to join the army who does anything to survive a German WWII prison camp. Wertmüller’s Oscar nomination for best director was the first (and until 1993, the only one) received by a woman. Italian, subtitles. 7:30 p.m. State Theatre.
