Salamander Search: Hudson Mills Metropark Interpretive Nature Programs.
Kids ages 8–12 invited to join in venturing into the woods to search for salamanders, who journey overland to get to vernal pools to lay their eggs. Waterproof boots recommended. Hudson Mills Metropark River Grove Picnic Area, 8801 North Territorial Rd., Dexter. $5 per kid (adults free).
