“Music for a Meanwhile Earth”: Vocal Arts Ensemble.
Ben Cohen directs this local 24-voice chamber choir in an Earth Day concert featuring music & texts from the Renaissance to the present. Highlights include Lori Latiman’s The Earth, a 3-movement choral cycle setting the poetry of Emily Dickinson and the world premiere of U-M grad Evan Hause’s The Two Trees, which draws on W. B. Yeats’s poem of the same title.
