“Mozart & Friends”: Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra.:
Guest conductor Tong Chen, assistant conductor of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, directs the A2SO and U-M horn professor Adam Unsworth in Mozart’s high-spirited, impish Horn Concerto No. 4. Bologne, more widely known as Chevalier de Saint-Georges, is perhaps the best-known classical composer of African ancestry. Haydn’s turbulent, propulsive, & colorful Symphony No. 49 rounds out the program. 8 p.m., Michigan Theater.
