“Love a Park Days”: City of Ann Arbor Give 365 Volunteer and Outreach Program.
Aug. 3, 16, 26, & 28. All invited to pick up trash, weed playgrounds, spread woodchips, and help city staffers with other minor beautification projects. Wear long pants, and sturdy closed-toed shoes; bring water; tools and gloves provided. Olson Park (Aug. 3, 10 a.m.–noon). Evergreen Park (Aug. 16, 2–4 p.m.). White Oak Park (Aug. 26, 9–11 a.m.).
