“In Search of Salamanders at Hudson Mills Metropark”: Washtenaw Audubon Society.

Amphibian expert Eddie Sanchez leads a morning stroll to look for representatives of the park’s 6 resident salamander species. Dress for mud and don’t use soaps or lotions on your hands if you’d like to handle salamanders. 10 a.m.–1 p.m., meet at the Hudson Mills Metropark River Grove Shelter parking lot, 8801 N. Territorial Rd., Dexter. Free. $10 vehicle entrance fee. Washtenawaudubon.org.
