“Ancestral Haiku”: U-M Center for World Performance Studies.:

Interactive performance that weaves together music, dance, video projection, and original artwork to explore Black ancestry, the Middle Passage, and the work of poet and scholar Mursalata Muhammad. Features live music by Legacy, a Detroit improvisational ensemble led by the accomplished jazz bassist Marion Hayden.
