Per Michigan law, recreational use is legal in Ann Arbor. Adults may possess and transport up to 2.5 ounces at any given time, keep up to 10 ounces at home (amounts over 2.5 ounces must be locked away), and grow up to 12 plants, but cannot sell it or consume it in public. Driving a vehicle under the influence of marijuana is also prohibited. Property owners, including landlords and universities, may prohibit the use of marijuana on their properties.
