AAATA provides a shared, reservation-based ride service for disabled people (A-Ride) and free regular service for people ages 65 and above, recently expanded to Ypsilanti (GoldRide). Valid A-Ride or GoldRide I.D. or required; applications available at theride.org/services/accessible-senior-service. GroceryRide provides weekly trips from several senior housing communities in Ann Arbor to local grocery stores for $1.50 total. Buses can accommodate wheelchairs or scooters.
