This new program is free for caregivers and persons living with memory loss to engage in social conversation, creative and entertaining activities, and develop friendships for mutual support while relieving the mental and physical stress that Alzheimer's disease or related dementia brings to daily interactions, tasks, and responsibilities. Comfortable seating, coffee bar, and soothing music are added features to enter a welcoming non-judgement environment.

You're invited to join a caregiver support group in your community and talk with others who are experiencing the challenges of caring for a person living with memory loss. All groups meet monthly and are confidential, free, and open to the public. Anyone involved in caring for or loving someone with memory loss is welcome to join. Please call the chapter office if you have any questions or to confirm meeting date and location at 800-272-3900. Cancellation policy: If local adult education classes have canceled due to dangerous weather conditions, the support group will be cancelled.

The death of a loved one can bring on many reactions, including a desire to isolate yourself, or a lack of motivation to take part in physical activity. This is a monthly social group which will take place in various parks in the Ann Arbor area. This is an opportunity for grievers to socialize while getting fresh air and exercise. All activity levels are welcome and individuals can walk at their own pace.
