"Climate and Affordable Housing Town Hallę: Climate & Housing Coalition, and UM Graduate Employees Union.

community member   < less Climate Justice

Join us for a Climate & Housing Town Hall put on by the Climate and Housing Coalition and sponsored by the U-M Graduate Employees Union (GEO).

Learn about how GEO is fighting for the living conditions workers deserve: access to affordable housing, clean water and air, and a low-carbon transit system that does not force workers to choose between their wallet and their future.
At this pivotal moment in the fight against the climate crisis, it is critical that U-M invest in its workers and its community, not in the fossil fuels that are wreaking havoc on our planet.

Everyone - community members, students, staff, faculty, and laborers - is invited to this town hall meeting to learn more about the campaign, how climate, housing and transit are inextricably linked, and how together, we can fight for the world and urban environment that we all deserve.

6 - 7:30pm Wednesday, Feb 19
Rackham Building, 4th Floor, 915 E. Washington St. Free. umgeo@geo3550.org https://www.facebook.com/events/558027931724683/ [map]
