County Caucus: Green Party of Washtenaw County.

On July 12th 2018 the Green Party of Washtenaw County will be holding a County Caucus to nominate Green Party candidates for state and local offices in Washtenaw County. The caucus starts at 5PM and will be held at the Holiday Inn at 3600 Plymouth Rd. in Ann Arbor MI 48105, doors at the Wolverines room open up at 4PM.
The GP Washtenaw County will nominated candidate for Michigan State Representative in the 52nd, 53rd, 54th, and 55th districts and Michigan State Senate District 18. You should be a member of the Green Party of Michigan or GPWC to participate; join at migreenparty.org . Candidate should be at least 21 years old and registered to vote in the district and be familiar with Green Party values . The Party will also be nominating candidates for Washtenaw County Commissioner Districts 1 through 9 for November 6th ballot. For more information contact the Washtenaw Co. Rep. Green Party of Washtenaw County will holding a candidate forum on July 12th at 7PM. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn at 3600 Plymouth Rd. in Ann Arbor MI 48105 doors open at 6:30PM The forum will feature the Green Party nominees for Michigan Governor & U.S. Senate, Jennifer Kurland & Marcia Squier along with Democratic Primary candidate for MI Governor Bill Cobb of Detroit. The forum will be hosted by Clyde Shabazz of the In The Green show and will be streamed live over on the Green Party of Michigan U.S. Facebook page and made available to the media via YouTube. Worried about climate change? Wondering how you can make a real difference? Come to the monthly meeting of the Ann Arbor chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL). CCL is a national, grassroots organization working to enact federal legislation to put a price on CO2. It is the most focused and influential organization working on national climate policy. Our meetings consist of dialing in to a national conference call (featuring different guest speakers each month), followed by local discussion of actions.
