Ark: Dar Williams

Acclaimed pop-folk singer-songwriter from western Massachusetts who has been a huge favorite with local audiences ever since her performance at the 1996 Ann Arbor Folk Festival. She sings in a sweet, ringing soprano, and her brightly melodic songs feature sophisticated, vividly insightful, and often tartly humorous lyrics on a wide range of personal and social themes. Opener: Emily Scott Robinson, a Colorado singer-songwriter with a pristine soprano voice whom Rolling Stone named one of the "10 New Country and Americana Artists You Need to Know" for 2019.
