Quartet led by Harris, a fast-rising young New Orleans composer- trombonist and vocalist whose music blends the grit and swing of traditional jazz with the edge of modern jazz. 8 p.m.

An array of standards by everyone from Monk, Mingus, and Wayne Shorter to Jimi Hendrix, Bowie, and Joni Mitchell, along with many originals, by this local quartet. With guitarist Charlie Sutherland, trumpeter Ingrid Racine, bassist Josef Deas, and drummer Nick Collins. 11 p.m.
