Blind Pig: The Macpodz

Immensely popular local jam band that plays an invigorating mix of R&B, soul, rock, and hard jazz it calls "disco bebop." A couple of expat members- pianist Jesse Clayton and drummer Griffin Bastian- are rejoining the band for this holiday show. Cover charge TBA. [venue info]

Blue Llama: Los Gatos

Popular local Latin jazz quintet led by drummer Pete Siers that specializes in the old-school music of Cal Tjader, Mongo Santamaría, Tito Puente, and Joe Cuba. [venue info]

Chelsea Alehouse Brewery: Thunderwüde

Bluegrass and related roots music by the Chelsea trio of guitarists Jason Dennie and Tommy Reifel and multi-instrumentalist Wes Fritzemeier. [venue info]
