Ann Arbor Distilling Co.: Jo Serrapere
Gifted veteran local singer-songwriter known for her spare, haunting ballads and blues and her sinewy, commanding vocals. Her latest CD, Dollar Store Nation, is rooted in the unselfconscious genre- hopping across of rock 'n 'roll, country, folk, and honky-tonk boundaries exemplified by the likes of Wanda Jackson and Patsy Cline.
Blind Pig: Deadicated
Detroit psychedelic jam band that specializes in the music of the Grateful Dead and its circle. Openers: Trembling Earth, a Manchester-based blues-inflected folk-rock jam band, and Mega Weedge, a Ween tribute band. $10 ($15 at the door).
