Pop-rock singer-songwriter and guitarist whose repertoire includes an engaging mix of personal, political, and whimsical songs. Tonight he performs the entirety of his old band Soul Coughing's 1994 debut album Ruby Vroom. Opener: Wheatus, a progressive pop sextet from Long Island whose music is an eclectic mix of everything from Motown and 70s rock to metal and hip-hop. $20 ($22 at the door).

Acoustic jazz-inflected blues and blues-rock by the duo of singer and harmonica player Michael May and guitarist David Roof.

Local African fusion ensemble led by bassist Dave Sharp.
