UMMA curator Jennifer Friess and UMMA education outreach program coordinator Grace VanderVliet lead a tour of the current exhibit called "Cross Pollination." With a focus on environmental themes in this and 2 other exhibits, The Power Family Program for Inuit Art and Jason DeMarte: Garden of Artificial Delights. Followed at 3 p.m. in the gallery by a chance to join Literati Bookstore's Eco Book Club, a discussion, led by local poet Alison Swan, of Robin Wall Kimmerer's Braiding Sweetgrass.
