U-M dining chefs make a dinner out of food that otherwise would have gone to waste. Followed by a panel conversation with U-M urban & regional planning professor Lesli Hoey, City of Ann Arbor solid waste coordinator Jennifer Petoskey, and a U-M student TBA.

Zingerman's head chef Bob Bennett & Thrillist food and acclaimed cookbook author Nicole Taylor host a dinner celebrating the African American Cultural and Historical Museum featuring recipes from Taylor's upbringing in Athens, GA. Menu highlights include smoked trout, deviled eggs, coffee rubbed short ribs, rutabaga gratin, and southern-style beans.
