Known for his acidic humor, sharp-witted verbal elegance, and sardonically incisive social critiques, this popular satirist made his comic debut in 1992 on NPR Morning Edition recounting his strange-but-true experiences as a Macy's elf clad in green tights, later recorded in his SantaLand Diaries. Today, Sedaris offers recollections of some highlights of his career and reads from recent work, which includes a collection of diary entries (A Carnival of Snackery) and a compendium of his best stories (The Best of Me).
