Reading by Jon Sands, a Brooklyn-based poet & 2018 National Poetry Series winner. His 2019 collection, It's Not Magic, draws on voices from Sands' private world and the public sphere to create an urgent portrait of youth that is almost rebellious in its sheer, persistent joy. Preceded by an open mic.
