“Ain’t Misbehavin’”: The Encore Musical Theatre Company.
Every Thurs.–Sun., Sept. 15–Oct. 2. Gerry McIntyre directs this local professional theater company in Richard Maltby Jr.’s joyful, high-energy 1978 Broadway musical revue that pays tribute to legendary Harlem Renaissance composer-pianist Fats Waller, master of the stride jazz piano and creator of indelible tunes. Sky Foundation Annual Autumn Stroll: Sky Foundation, Inc.
Sky Foundation Annual Autumn Stroll - Sunday, September 18th
On Sunday, September 18th, Sky supporters from all over the U.S. will gather in groups, both large and small, for the Autumn Stroll to fund pancreatic cancer research.
The Autumn "Stroll" can be defined as walking, jogging, running, swimming, biking and more. Each team leader can create their own event. The foundation encourages friends and family from out of town to participate in their own city.
“We raise awareness of pancreatic cancer every year during this event so that more people can learn about the symptoms of pancreatic cancer and the impact Sky Foundation has on medical research.” says Rochester Hills resident and Assistant Dean of Oakland University, Leigh Settlemoir Dzwik, PhD, MBA, SPHR.

Sky Foundation was established in 2008 by Sheila Sky Kasselman following her diagnosis, treatment, and surgery for pancreatic cancer. 24th Annual Orphan Car Show: Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Collection Fundraiser.
Display of extremely rare “orphan cars” whose parent companies are long out of business, such as Studebaker, DeSoto, DeLorean, Austin-Healey, Bristol, and others. This year’s show highlights various British and Non-British foreign orphan cars. This bustling, lively festival—the largest 1-day book festival in Michigan—celebrates books and bookmaking with a huge variety of demonstrations, talks, panel discussions, signings, displays, and sale tables by local bookstores, booksellers, and publishers. 10:30 a.m.: Storytimes for preschoolers (Ann Arbor District Library).
