Daily. Three different audiovisual planetarium shows suitable for all ages. Expedition Reef (12:30 p.m.) reveals the secrets of the “rainforests of the sea,” the world’s most vibrant and endangered marine ecosystems. Yoga at the Big House: Citizen Yoga
Join Kacee Must, owner and founder of Citizen Yoga, for an amazing yoga experience on the field at the Big House. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Garrett's Space, a suicide prevention nonprofit dedicated to reducing suicides by restoring hope and perspective in young adults struggling with significant mental health challenges. It's currently offering an important new option: an intensive wellness group that meets twice a week for support and healing activities. Ultimately, Garrett's Space will create a holistically focused residential space that will be a refuge located in nature, intended to lift young adults through times of despair. The center will feature an array of healing activities including yoga, music, meditation, healthy cooking and poetry, as well as peer support and resources for families. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”: Father Gabriel Richard High School Dramalums.
Aug. 4–7. Elizabeth Champion directs Gabriel Richard students and recent grads in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s popular 1973 rock musical based on the biblical story of Joseph. The favorite son of the prophet Jacob, Joseph was sold into slavery by his envious brothers but rose to become one of the Pharaoh’s key insiders.
