Yin/Restorative Yoga: Mota Thai Yoga.

  community member   < less

Reconnect with yourself-mind, body, and spirit! This slower paced style of yoga is a good compliment to our fast-paced lifestyles. Passive asanas (postures) are held for long periods of time, sometimes up to 3-5 minutes, allowing the deep connective tissue to stretch, the fascia to release, and an increase circulation in the joints. Learn to listen to your body and breath, how subtle movements can change the asana completely, and how to find peace in that which brings you discomfort.
When you come to the studio, remove your shoes at the door, and take your belongings to your yoga space. You will be checked in at the door.
Your first class is free. Otherwise, drop-in for $15 or use a class package. Register on Mindbody or www.motathaiyoga.com
(The studio is located at 416 W. Huron Street, across from the YMCA. Look for blue door #22 with a red buddha on it.). Email info@motathaiyoga.com if you have any questions.
